Hello. I’m Vanessa. A Christian wife of 9 years and homeschool momma of 3 girls. This is where you will find some of the wisdom I’ve gleaned from growing up poor, struggling with postpartum depression, and the constant battle of breaking generational curses.

I started this blog, because even though I’m only 27 I have seen and experienced a whole lot of ugly in this world. I know I am not the only one. So many women and girls have experienced emotional, physical, and financial abuse. I am here to tell them that not only can they survive, but they can thrive. As a mother, wife, daughter, a member of society. Rise above your raising.

I also started this blog, because I love my creativity and ability to design something from nothing. I want to share these creations with you.
