Hell is Gods justice poured out on the wicked on behalf of the innocent, righteous, and pure.
There are so many false doctrines taught about how there is no hell. Many people despise Christianity because our God has created a hell.
Perhaps you feel these feelings about hell, because inside you understand that there is a part of you that is deserving of hell. You need to understand that the gift of being clothed in Jesus’ righteousness and purity is completely free. It has nothing to do with our actions, because the Lord saved us while we were yet sinners. Salvation from hell is a free choice we get to make.
If you have negative feelings about there being a hell you may either not have enough empathy for the victims of rape, murder, slander, and suicide; or you are so self obsessed you just can’t fathom that there’s a chance of you going there.
Hell is the justice for those of us who will not see justice here on earth. Hell prevents the raped and orphaned by murder from witnessing their enemies in heaven and/or experiencing it again. Rapists don’t belong in heaven, so God won’t let them in. But those who are humble enough to repent and truly change heart, mind, soul, action, and body, all for Him. They will make it into the kingdom of heaven.
Hell provides safety for the good. If there was no hell heaven would be no better than earth. I rest peacefully knowing that heaven will be truly safe. I rest in knowing that specific people will not be there. Hell gives hope to the broken. If you despise Christianity because there is a hell you do not understand Christianity enough to make such a judgment.
I have read the word of God. I have spent time with my Lord. I thank God for hell.
